2 days to rank #2 in Google for 'Syed Balkhi'

About two days ago, Syed Balkhi make a challenge in twitter for 'anyone' to rank #1 in Google for his name. After I saw that no one had registered the domain syedbalkhi.com I decided to give it a try. I mean, that should rank #1 without any effort at all?

I also posted a short blog with a link to the new domain. This morning I noticed that blog post is ranking #2 in Google for Syed Balkhi. I guess it really isn't that hard to rank well with his name.

I may never rank #1 for Syed Balkhi, but I think getting a #2 ranking in Google in less than 2 days is an pretty good accomplishment!

In a future blog post, I'll outline the plan I'd use if I was really serious in getting a #1 ranking for his name or any thing short phrase.
